Mojacar Pueblo

Mojacar is a small, beautiful village situated on top of a hill, overlooking the sea, on the south-east coast of Spain between Almeria and Murcia. By car the journey from Almeria airport takes about 1 hour, from Murcia airport about 2.5 hours and is easily accessible via the E-15 motorway. When I visited for the first time in January 2005 the weather was mild at an average of 15°C and sunny - a pleasant change from the dullness of Britain.

Mojacar Playa is the 3 mile stretch of development along the sea front. It's a mixture of apartments, restaurants, bars, and shops. The beach is excellent, well maintained, and has consistently won the European Blue Flag award for cleanliness
